A Journey to the Industrial Court

“Establishing Best Practices in ‘Good’ Industrial Relations”

Good Industrial Relations principles and practices is critical to employee motivation and contributes positively to overall organisational success. Caribbean countries industrial relations climate has evolved from an adversarial approach to one of cooperation for the greater good of economic growth and societal comfort.

Understanding these approaches toward a best practice in Industrial Relations continues to be of significant importance. Our past history as Employers and Employees in the Caribbean has been confrontational and there is always the opportunity for conflict between the parties on matters of rights and interests.
