NIGEL O'NEIL - President
Professional experience:
Mr. Nigel O’Neil is currently an employee of PowerGen and previously T&TEC since 1987 and has held numerous posts within both organizations. He joined the Human Resources department of PowerGen in 2001 and holds the position of Senior Human Resource Generalist with the key responsibility for the Human Resource Information Systems and administering the company’s Intranet.

Education:

Nigel holds a BSc. (First Class Honors) from the University of Greenwich. He is also a certified Novel Administrator, a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator and Microsoft Certified Professional. Nigel is the Project Manager for PowerGen’s implementation of its enterprise HRIS (ABRA Enterprise) and he is currently studying for his Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification.

NICOLE BLANC - Vice President
Professional Experience:
Nicole Blanc is the Director in charge of HR Services at ORBIT Solutions Limited.  Her past experience includes working for and building service lines in two well-known international and one local client service companies in Trinidad.  Additional experience includes HR Manager within a local and regional manufacturing /distribution group of companies with over 800 staff.
 
Education:
Nicole holds an MSc in Occupational Psychology and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and has over 10 years experience in the areas of Human Resources and Performance Improvement.
GREGORY CAMEJO - Secretary

Professional Experience:

Mr. Gregory Camejo is currently an employee of PowerGen and holds the post of Senior Human Resources Specialist with the Key Responsibility for the Employee/Industrial Relations of the company. He joined the HR department in 2007. Prior to joining PowerGen he was the HR Manager at SWMCOL and he held the position of HR Officer at the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago. Gregory has 8 years HR experience.

Education:
Gregory holds an MBA from Andrews University Michigan and a BSc in Sociology with HR from the University of the West Indies. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Social Sciences with Leicester University.

JANE WIGHT - Public Relations Officer
Professional experience:
Professional Experience: Ms. Jane Wight has invaluable work experience in Human Resources and has held positions of: HR Director, HR Consultant and Human Resource Assistant.

Education:
Education: Ms. Wight has a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada with a major in Human Resources Management and will soon complete her Master of Science Programme with Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, University of the West Indies. In her masters program, Jane is also majoring in HRM with a specialization in Training and Development.

PAULA THOMAS - Education/Research Officer
Professional experience:
Ms. Paula Thomas is currently a part-time Lecturer at the Cipriani College of Labour & Cooperative Studies, lecturing undergraduate courses in Job Evaluation & Compensation, Training & Development and Organizational Behaviour. She is currently the Public Relation Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Psychologists (TTAP).

Ms. Thomas has in excess of 8 years of human resource management experience both internationally and locally, where her key function has been recommending and implementing personnel strategies to increase personnel productivity. Her international experience involved decision making tasks relating to salary matters for some 4,400 employees, including executives, in a major South Florida municipality. She was much to the fore in proposing personnel strategies which included the establishment of equitable compensation packages, thereby enhancing morale, ultimately increasing personnel productivity.

Locally she developed, implemented and evaluated complete and comprehensive global recruitment strategies. She was intimately involved in recruiting over one hundred and fifty (150) professional.

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from the University of the West Indies (U.W.I) and a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Florida International University (F.I.U.).
SONYA LEQUAY - Treasurer

Professional Experience:
HR Officer at PowerGen, Sonya’s primary focus is Employee Resourcing, Planning and Reward. A core member of the organization’s labour negotiations team, Sonya brings her strong analytical skills to this process. Over the last 10 years, she has been responsible for the development of human resource plans, and policies and procedures, and served as the coordinator and primary liaison officer of the company’s international management development programme. Sonya is keenly interested in the effective use of employee recognition programmes and has spearheaded some of these HR initiatives at PowerGen. She is actively involved in the selection and use of psychometric tools to add value to the recruitment and development processes. Her professional experience also includes organization development, job analysis and evaluation, and change management.

B.A.(Hons) Human Resource Management, French and Russian Studies (double major) , University of Keele, Staffordshire, UK

BRIAN JONES - Assistant Secretary/Treasurer

Professional Experience:

Mr. Brian N. Jones possesses over twenty years experience in various facets of Human Resource Management. He has worked in the Oil & Gas and the Port Management industries in senior Human Resource managerial positions where he has been responsible for Strategic Staffing, Compensation Management, Performance Management, Industrial Relations and Change Management Initiatives. Brian also has a keen interest in employee health and welfare and has played the lead role in the developing and implementing Employee Wellness and Employee Assistance Programmes in several organizations.

Education :

Mr. Jones is in possession a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Industrial Relations & Labor Economics from McGill University, Quebec, Canada, a Post Graduate diploma in Business Administration with a HRM specialization from Heriott-Watt University and an MBA from Heriott-Watt University, Edinburgh Business School, Edinburgh, Scotland.
